What ist the weather like in Rheinhessen this time of the year?
February is winter time in Germany. If we are lucky, we will even have snow. Average temperature in February is between 0° and 5° degree celsius. So bear in mind to have suitable winter clothes in your luggage for our hike.
What will be our hike like?
Our hike will be roughly about 13,2 km and will take us round about 4 hours through the vineyards. It is an absolute moderate hike, so suitable for all levels.
What should I bring?
- comfortable yoga/exercise clothing
- shawl, long leggings and warm socks for early morning and evening meditations
- comfortable walking shoes
- journal or book for your free time
- any medication/ dietary supplements you require
- raincoat or umbrella
- anythings else that you wish to bring with you
Do I need to bring my yoga mat?
If you have a mat you enjoy practicing on, by all means bring it along with you. Otherwise, a mat will be provided to use for the duration of the retreat.
Anything you wish to bring.
I am new to yoga. Am I ready for a retreat?
Yes! Ute will accommodate practitioners at all levels. Whether you are a yoga newbie or total Yoga Jedi. This one is for all.
Can I do yoga if I am not flexible?
„I cannot touch my toes“, that is okay because really it does not matter whether you are a flexible pretzel or not. You do not need to be a yoga rock-star to fully enjoy a retreat. What is more important than showing up limber as a cat is showing up with an open mind, ready to explore yoga and yourself.
Can I go on a Retreat by myself?
Most do! Yoga retreats can be great for couples, friends, and families, but the majority of retreat takers go solo. The reason is that yoga retreats are by definition a get away. Souls who attend yoga retreats tend to be respectful, community-driven, and generally well centered, so it is a great place to make new friends. It also allows one to find their own groove again, or just relish in being in their own personal space.
Do I have to participate in everything on the schedule?
No. You are free to do whatever you like but lets put it that way: if you join us, you will get the full experience of the retreat.
Which language will the classes be in at the yoga retreat?
The retreat invites people from all cultures to join; thus, our spoken language will be English. In case it turns out the whole retreat crew is German, well then we will have a German retreat. But you do not need to be an English speaking superstar to comprehend the yoga sessions.
